PLAY Dance Competition
An international team choreography competition that brings urban dance to a major theatre stage – professionally produced, community-driven and visually powerful.
A platform for choreography, quality and community.
PLAY presents complete team choreographies rather than individual battles. Dance groups perform four- to six-minute pieces for an international jury in a professional theatre setting.
I developed the format and oversee the full production – from financing and ticketing to programme coordination, technical planning and delivery on the event day.
Overall planning, scheduling and coordination of the production team, venue, jury, participating teams and service providers.
Budgeting, accounting, financing, sponsorship acquisition and partner communication.
Programme dramaturgy, technical coordination, ticketing and audience communication.
On-site production management and responsibility for the full event workflow.
