Guidance – Movement Connects
A platform for street and club dance styles that combines visibility, education, artistic development and community building.
Making underrepresented dance cultures visible.
Guidance creates spaces for street and club dance styles that receive too little visibility in established cultural contexts. The initiative supports young creatives, strengthens professionalisation and connects different actors in Hanover.
The work places particular emphasis on children and young people, inclusion, diversity and the historically informed teaching of dance cultures.
Co-development of the initiative's direction, projects and long-term objectives.
Organisation, production planning and coordination of volunteers and contributors.
Finances, accounting, funding and administrative project structures.
Communication and visibility for dance styles and perspectives that are often overlooked.
